IT Magic HobbiesAt present I donate time to teach Robotics at Highfields State School.I use the Lego Robotics system to teach mechanical buiding techniques and the first stages of programming. The kids get to build their own robot solutions to solve some really difficult problems. Each year I put together a team and we go to compete at the Robocup. If your kids are in year 6 and 7, at Highfields, join them up in the next muster. They have lots of fun and I hope they get a taste of Engineering that might help them choose Engineering as a profession. Boys and girls are all welcome. My Daughters all do robotics! |
